'O Paalanhaare' (ओ पालनहारे, निर्गुण और न्यारे) is a deeply emotional and monumental bhajan from the Oscar-nominated 2001 film Lagaan. Composed by A.R. Rahman with lyrics by Javed Akhtar and sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Udit Narayan, it represents the absolute surrender of villagers facing an impossible crisis.

The music was composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman for the 2001 sports-drama epic 'Lagaan'. The soul-stirring lyrics were written by Javed Akhtar.
Nirgun means 'formless or without physical attributes' (often used in Vedanta), and Nyaare means 'unique, distinct, or beyond comprehension'. It addresses God as the ultimate, unimaginable cosmic truth.
