Sai Chalisa (साई चालीसा) is a 40-verse devotional hymn dedicated to Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi — the saint who transcended all religious boundaries and preached 'Sabka Malik Ek' (God is one for all). Sai Baba is revered by both Hindus and Muslims and his Chalisa is recited on Thursdays (Guruvar) at Shirdi and worldwide.
पहले सांई के चरणों में, अर्पित करूं मैं माथ। चालीसा लिखने को, दो मुझे शक्ति साईनाथ॥
जय जय जय साईनाथ प्रभु, करहु कृपा अब धाम। भक्त जनों के संकट, लेहु प्रभु अब थाम॥
शिरडी ग्राम में तुम आए। सबको अपना दर्शन दिए॥ हिन्दू मुस्लिम सबको भाए। एकता का पाठ पढाए॥
सबका मालिक एक है, यह सत्य बताया। नाम न जात न धर्म है, बस प्रेम बताया॥
अल्लाह मालिक कह के बोले। मस्जिद में दिया जलाए॥ दिव्य दृष्टि से सब देखते। भक्तों का दुख हर पाए॥

Shirdi Sai Baba was a spiritual master who lived in Shirdi (Maharashtra) in the 19th-20th century. He preached love, forgiveness, and unity of all religions. His famous saying was 'Sabka Malik Ek' (One God for all).
Sai Chalisa is most auspicious on Thursdays (Guruvar). It can also be recited any time with devotion. Lighting a diya and incense before Sai Baba's photograph makes the recitation more effective.
Sai Baba is known to fulfill all sincere wishes of his devotees. Reciting Sai Chalisa with faith removes obstacles, heals illnesses, brings financial relief, and fulfills heartfelt desires.
