Vaishno Devi Aarti (वैष्णो देवी की आरती) is a devotional prayer to Maa Vaishno Devi, the supreme goddess enshrined in the holy cave of Trikuta Mountains in Katra, Jammu. Maa Vaishno Devi is considered a manifestation of the Supreme Goddess Adishakti. Millions of devotees undertake the holy pilgrimage (yatra) to seek her blessings every year.
जय माँ वैष्णो देवी, जय माँ वैष्णो देवी। त्रिकुटे विराजती माँ, जय माँ वैष्णो देवी॥
कोटि-कोटि रूप धरे माँ, कोटि नाम तेरे। भक्तों की पुकार सुनती, संकट हर लेती माँ॥ जय माँ वैष्णो देवी, जय माँ वैष्णो देवी।
पिंडी के रूप में विराजे, तेरे तीन रूप माँ। महाकाली, महालक्ष्मी, महासरस्वती माँ॥ जय माँ वैष्णो देवी, जय माँ वैष्णो देवी।
अर्धकुँवारी के दर्शन से, पाप सभी कट जाते। भैरव नाथ की पूजा से, दर्शन पूर्ण होते॥ जय माँ वैष्णो देवी, जय माँ वैष्णो देवी।
जो भी आए तेरे द्वारे, खाली न जाए कोई। जय माता दी का नारा, गूंजे घर घर डोलता॥ जय माँ वैष्णो देवी, जय माँ वैष्णो देवी।
Maa Vaishno Devi temple is located in the Trikuta Mountains, near Katra town in Jammu district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The holy cave shrine is at an altitude of 5,200 feet above sea level.
Maa Vaishno Devi is considered one of the most sacred shrines in India. The goddess is a combined manifestation of Goddess Kali, Goddess Lakshmi, and Goddess Saraswati — known as Tridevi.
The Vaishno Devi shrine receives over 8 million pilgrims annually, making it one of the most visited religious shrines in the world.
