'Aye Malik Tere Bande Hum' (ऐ मालिक तेरे बंदे हम) is a deeply moving prayer song from the classic 1957 film Do Aankhen Barah Haath. Sung by Lata Mangeshkar and V. Shantaram, and written by Bharat Vyas, it is a universal plea to the Almighty for guidance out of darkness and forgiveness for worldly sins.

बड़ा कमज़ोर है आदमी। अभी लाखों हैं इसमें कमी॥ पर तू जो खड़ा, है दयालू बड़ा। तेरी कृपा से धरती थमी॥ दिया तूने हमें जब जनम। तू ही झेलेगा हम सबके ग़म॥
जब ज़ुल्मों का हो सामना। तब तू ही हमें थामना॥ वो बुराई करें, हम भलाई भरें। नहीं बदले की हो कामना॥ बढ़ उठे प्यार का हर कदम। और मिटे बैर का ये भरम॥
It is from the legendary 1957 Bollywood film 'Do Aankhen Barah Haath', directed by V. Shantaram. The film is known for its strong moral message about reforming prisoners.
